Roadtrip!

A few uni friends and I took a roadtrip a while back and spent the day at Mandurah! :)

Despite not planning on what to do beforehand, we ended up doing alot of things and had a blast!

Anyways...photos!

Got dropped off at Tash's place before we got picked up by Beau and Nat! Lots of disney songs in the car along the way to Mandurah hahaha! Reached the foreshore around 10-ish to meet up with Jon, Justine and James!

Some of us didn't have breakfast yet so we stopped by at a small cafe first for coffees and food :)
Had a cappuccino (with a buttload of sugar)

Also gave the front cashier a buttload of change too HAHAHA ($20-30 worth)

Visited the sweetshop on the way to the ATMs before we headed over to the other side of the foreshore for minigolf!
Like most sports I suckeddd (either get a hole in one or take a billion shots for others)
Suprisingly at the end I came 4th hahaha!

There were also rides and stuff you find at a carnival around the place...super quiet place but still open hahaha (and run by older men in tattoos)! Tash, Justine and I went on the ferris wheel :)!

Tash and Justine also went on the bumper cars afterwards cause there was some kids who needed adult supervision to ride hahaha!

Also lots of air/table hockey that day too!

Headed back to the opposite side of the foreshore again for lunch at Cicerellos! Craving for more fish and chips! (Plus I also had fish and chips with Moo earlier on in the week hahaha!)

Icecream at Simmos! Tried the strawberry cheesecake flavour!

Justine and Jon headed back to Perth after icecream...the rest of us went for some bowling! I'm not really sure on how to bowl...I think I threw it the wrong way for the first game hahaha (and got lots of gutterballs!) But kinda got much better in the third game! :)
James beat us all again lololol (also in minigolf hahaha!). Also Nat always seemed to have 1 pin she couldn't knock down hahaha!

Headed back to Perth around 6pm...lots of songs in the car!

Went for rollerblading! It's quite a nice place hahaha! Lots of kids though :> (Place opens at 7pm)

Hope to have another trip like this in the near future :)!

Mid term holidays have ended and I really regret not drawing alot more...but have some new pieces to shareeee~

Shoddy pages with my OCs! I wanted to do one for each pairing (I generally group them into twos)....I started off with Teddy and Flame but I scrapped it :C
Here are the other ones though!

I think I need to practice my linework more...it's really thick :(

Sketched Mirelda on a piece of MDF but never got round to painting on it zzzzz

Did some experimental pieces on bristol board...it's a really nice surface to work on but markers absorb super quickly so I find it a bit harder to blend smoothly...however it feels really nice and much more sturdy than regular paper!

Practice with masking fluid but cause it dries clear....I-I can't really see what parts I'm masking off unless I hold it to the light lololol!
Also I'm super impatient with this stuff...I usually end up ripping the paper underneath :(

Pulling the fluid off is kinda fun (and annoying hahahaha)

Also dyed my hair yesterday! I was leaning towards going red again, but since there has been alot of people dying their hair red I chose purple hahaha! It's quite weird to have dark hair again :)

Also watched Kung Fu Panda 2 with J and Isaac recently...I quite liked the movie and for a sequel it was pretty good hahaha!

Grand winner :) Congratulations Peter Darch!

Amazing night a few Saturdays ago! This commission was probably the biggest I've ever done and bigggg thank you to Monique from Propelarts for giving me such an amazing opportunity to paint this year's awards :) (I met her back when I participated in the Deckchair auction in 2009 hahaha!)
Best feeling was seeing all those award winners and finalists on stage getting recognition for the work they have done for the community...I hope they like the paintings hahaha!

"The WA Youth Awards were established in 1999 to recognise outstanding young Western Australians aged 13 to 25 years.
The Youth Awards demonstrate the hard work and dedication of young people to the wider community. and are held during National Youth Week in April each year."

I always thought that clogs would be hard and uncomfortable to wear but oh my these were lovely!
Also...super jealous at how my mom can get Dianne Ferarri shoes from $100+ down to $20 bucks brand new and all (or just super good deals in general hahah!)
Whenever I go shopping I either never find good sales or end up buying cheap quality crap cause it was discounted LOL ;A;

Hello hello! Sorry for the lack of posts! Ever since Melbourne in mid Feb till now, I feel as though everything has been on fast-forward hahaha! It's been a busy month and a half so I'm hoping that April will slow down a bit hahaha. I want to introduce you to a new face in the family! *A* Even though he looks cute, he's pretty naughty haha! . . . .

Meet Oliver! I've always thought my family would never have a dog as a pet but suddenly we do hahaha *A* We got him in late Feb!

Start of March was Soundwave! They had a really good lineup this year but I was super dissapointed when Avenged Sevenfold cancelled ;A;! Still had a really good time though! Went with Spike and Jason and I think I breathed in a litre of dust or something hahaha~ Some photos! Saw Bullet for my Valentine first! We were gonna see Sum 41 at first but they cancelled cause the lead singer was sick :(

Blessthefall! Their performance was fabbbb!

I don't remember taking this photo...all I can remember was trying to not fall down so I wouldn't be trampled hahaha! Made a mental note to not be in the middle of any future moshpits but later on that night when Bring me to the Horizon performed...I was in the moshpit again lololol ;A;

The next day at uni I was in so much pain around the rib area hahaha! FML

30 seconds to Mars was the band I was looking most forward to seeing after Avenged Sevenfold if they came to Soundwave hahaha Performance was ok in my opinion but they really know how to get the crowd going! Lots of favourites performed by this band.... and Jared Letooooo *noms*

Finished the paintings commissioned by the Office for Youth last week! I was supposed to finish in mid March but some things came up so I redid two of the paintings :>

Was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to make the new deadline with assignments being due everyweek and having to go back to work but I'm glad I managed to do it! I actually like the 2 new ones I redid more than the original old ones hahaha;; Awards night is this Saturday so I'm super excited! Hopefully I can post up all the artworks once the ceremony is over + winners have been announced :)

What I've been doinggg

Hello hello!

I've been busy working on a big commission for the last few weeks and really really am hoping to make it past the 50% completion mark by Wednesday ;A;
The deadline for these paintings (14 in total) is about 2 weeks away and I'm stressing like madddd.

Definately not in the mood for uni which started today and was accompanied with shitty delayed train lines and a blackout in disgusting Perth summer heat hahaha (but that's another story!)

Been back in Perth for a bit over a week already and it's already back to work :<
Uni starts soon and I'll be pressed till mid March to get artwork done for a deadline so less posts till thennn

WAI-CON 2011

Woahhh...long time no blog hahaha!
Just finished Wai-con the weekend past and it was really good fun *A*!!

Despite sales being super superrrr slow (our table location wasn't great but considering the late traders application I thought we would be in a dark little corner hahaha!!) I did manage to profit haha! The Hetalia stickers sold the best though...I wonder if it was the series or maybe that they were stickers? Idk hahaha! But many Hetalia cosplayers though! Germany sold out first followed after by Italy which was amusing cause I didn't really like how I drew Germany hahaha!

But the money doesn't matter...what I really enjoyed was experience as a trader for the first time and seeing the amazing cosplays this year! Quality definately went up compared to past cons :)
I'm quite tempted to get another table next year but we'll see~

Got there early on Saturday morning to set up! I think my half of the table was kinda disorganised so I was a bit more prepared for Sunday's set up (but I forgot to take a photo of Sunday's layout cause the trader's hall opened just when Thunderjelly and I finished setting up zzzz)

I didn't buy much at the con this year but did find a small Takasugi figurine from the store next to us!

Several people seemed to think that Thunderjelly and I were part of the table next to us so some would come up to us and try to pay for merch that wasn't ours hahaha!
After a while it did get a bit frustrating and often customers would put their stuff on our table just to rest it somewhere LOL
However the people in charge of the table next to us were really considerate and tried moving their stock behind our table to another side to make it a bit more clearer that we weren't part of their table plus they apologised and were really friendly :>!

I got these two small figurines for free from them which was sweet *A*!!

Another trader from another table was getting rid of their keychains towards the end of Sunday! Super cute ;w;

This keychain totally made my day...Haruka + Michiru (Sailor Moon) are one of my favourite pairings!

Thunderjelly and I also got these cute paper clay things from Watermelon + Bashiba who were on the table on the other side of us! They sold lots of cute charms, jewelerry, hats and artwork *A*!
I wish I could make things like these but I can't so much admiration for those who can make cute clay things!

Snacks + sticker previewssss

I did some Hetalia fanart a week and a bit ago..they'll be printed as stickers for Wai-con which will be held in late Jan! *u*

Did a trial run to see what the quality was like with my printer and they turned out suprisingly ok cause when looking for sticker paper the only glossy ones I found were postcard sized and much more pricey than 20 sheets of A4 matte sticker paper...in which it looked as though the matte paper (unprinted on) looked like normal paper hahaha

.....Finding sticker paper in stores was harder than I expected :S

Here are the 8 I did...was gonna do another 4 more characters but I'm so far behind in doing prints/keychains and the like.

Russia, USA, Korea, Italy, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany and Chinaaa
To be honest I've never watched Hetalia before but these were actually kinda fun to do *A*

Stickers are roughly 8cm by 6cm and I did some small 3cm x 3cm stickers from misc artwork cause it would be a waste to not print on those empty sticker spaces which I couldn't fit a Hetalia one in hahah
When I do some more artwork I'll make some more misc square ones to print out along with the Hetalia ones.

Currently sketching + inking some chibi and non chibi keychains! Doing non chibis too cause did I tell you I suck at drawing cute? :C

I picked up some snacks yesterday at an asian supermarketttt
Sadly they didn't have those koala biscuits I liked to waste my 95 cents on but they had some other things!
Got these:

There was a tiger (chocolate) + bear (cream) ones availiable too! I liked the bear design the most but cause it only said "cream" flavour...I was uncertain if it was vanilla or something like...cream cheese (which I hate hahahaha)
Maybe I might try them out next time hahaha

These were supposed to be Matcha Vanilla flavoured but I don't think they taste like Matcha or Vanilla at all hahaha
However they're quite niceee...reminds me of the Scotch finger biscuits I like :9

Hahaha I bet that new years resolution of losing weight is not going to go so well...but till next timeee!

I was going to do a less geeky first post for 2011 but the Gintama Benizakura movie came out on DVD back in December and now there are raws availiable to watch online *A*!! (Finallyyy! After having to wait since late April/May LOL )

I haven't found one with english sub yet but cause the movie is a re-telling of the Benizakura arc in the series with a few re-used scenes (but overall higher quality + extra details/scenes!) you can kinda get the gist of what's going on hahaha

My favourite part of the movie would have to be Gintoki + Zura's fight against the Harusame (the largest crime syndicate in the universe lead by the amantos (sorta like aliensss)) that made a deal with Takasugi (Gin + Zura' old comarade that fought with them in the past Joui wars) -their cooperation in exchange for Gintoki's + Zura's heads ) that was redone *A*!!
Fight starts at 0:25~

Brief translation from 1:53 (I'm going with the assumption that they are saying the same/similar as the series + manga plus I might be a bit off recalling from memory LOL)

Zura: Gintoki!
Gintoki: Huh?
Zura: There are things in this world that won't go the way you want them to. Forget the country [Zura's a terrorist/fugitive], I can't even change a friend! [Takasugi-who's an extremist but unlike Zura who wants to save the world from the Amantos that invaded their world, Takasugi wants world destruction even if siding with Amantos like the Harusame]

Boxing day buys and bye bye 2010!

Figured it was about time I posted something here :>
Most likely be spending the first minutes or hour of the new year working but that's life! (Probably celebrate with the other 'unfortunate' work mates who are also rostered till 12-2am tommorrow night HAHAHA)

My Christmas was a bit so-so this year; Christmas eve I found myself stuck in a fully packed freezer of stock at work which was pretty funny for a bit till I got a bit nervous with the claustrophobic space LOL (Literally only had a 30 cm space to walk through in the freezer to get effing chicken patties located at the very back of the freezer) and Boxing day I worked~!

But had Monday and Tuesday off to hit the shops for Boxing day sales! Didn't find that much (plus also bought at stores that generally have sales throughout the year) but still bought more than usual? :D

Was debating on whether to get the brown or black but opt for the brown cause 98% of my shoes are..black~

Speaking of shoes...been looking for a pair of glossy black enclosed heels but no success! Mainly cause my feet are like always 1/2 sizes too big or small FML hahaha

Then again I bought a pair of lovely bright red tartan leggings for a dollar once and still to this day I don't have anything to match with it FML hahaha

Thinking back on 2010...to be honest it's been a so so year....mainly cause I feel as though I haven't achieved much or done anything special? :<

Or maybe because I didn't have that many goals that I set out to achieve which makes it less obvious?

However 2 main good things with 2010 is that I got back into working part time again and that I've finally started learning how to drive! :)
Having no job/ only the odd art related job or two stressed me out a bit last summer cause there was so much time that was spent doing nothing and bills to pay...but I'm glad I'm working now cause I've met and made friends with people and also learn how to deal with customers, cope with stress and get some exercise hahaha!

With driving there was also some pressure on when I was gonna start learning how to drive and I've just got no motivation to learn hahaha
Not by the parents but just other people I suppose that put the pressure on me which made me a bit anxious now and again throughout the year :S (However I admit that I am pretty slack!)
Getting my learners permit was actually a goal I kinda set for myself to achieve by this summer so there's some relief that I'm making progress! Took the test a week or two ago and two days later started lessons :)

Anywayssss...I hope 2011 will be a more interesting year and hopefully a good one!
Decided to make some goals/new year resolutions for once!

1. Lose weight.
At least 5kgs or the tummy flab :C
Hahaha..I actually want this done before summer ends :P (Better start now!)

2. Get onto P plates/get drivers license. Or at least attempt the driving test hahaha
But for now lessons lessons lessons!

3.Learn how to cook
...Something more than fried eggs and instant noodles <3

4.Have some time throughout the week for art
This year just sucked ass for art...as a result I hardly improved or did anything FML :<

5.Take better care of my face/skin
And not go to sleep and wake up with a face smeared with eyeliner and foundation ffff---

6.Buy a maxi dress and the 'perfect' pair of black glossy heels (wedges might be better though hmm)
Probably an easy goal but knowing myself it'll probably take me a longggg time to get these two items hahaha

7. Get some work experience or get work at a place related to my field of study
Easier said than done LOL

Probably might have more goals but for now a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you allll!

...Yet I'm still awake ha..hahaha

My day off yesterday was too short and I didn't get enough sleep before waking up around 4am-ish to get to work today ;__;
Was out all day and also went out at night to Popo's place but was kinda irritable so took some naps throughout the night + watched Corpse Brideee afterrr~
Also went Christmas present shopping with my dad which was nice! We're mainly buying presents for Isabel, Ines, Gabby and Mikayla in which we've still got to get Ines and Gabby's. Had so much fun picking out Mikayla's present...mainly bought her some cute shirts for her to grow into (decided to go with Size 1 than 0) and also some cute socks! I really don't know what to get for babies LOL

Ehh..I'm not really great at getting presents for the adults so got my dad to arrange a lunch date for Dim Sum at Dragon Palace as my treat ^^ (Also I've never been dim sum there cause I've been working everytime they have lunch there hahaha)

Worked today and got bit grrr with the senior coffee orders this morning ;;
At work we have free coffee and drinks for those who hold senior cards and stuff...but I think after today I feel like being painfully strict on checking everybody's senior cards when they ask for seniors coffee in the future cause today = shitloads of asians who order like freaking 5-8 cups of free coffee PER ORDER which takes forever to make with everyone needing shitloads of coffees and then stress stress stress cause you can't run the orders quick enough CAUSE THERE'S TOO MUCH COFFEE TO BE MADE (on top of the ones for people who actually pay for them)--

Plus they get refills too zzz~
Ah well!

My lack of sleep is making me more irritable against customers now hahahaha *bricked*
I swear the majority of customers that have annoyed me in the past are...asians :C FML.

Woah...so sorry for not updating this more!
I've been rostered pretty much everyday for work since last Sunday and I'm a bit tired out hahaha
Got the day off tommorrow to spend with Tash but still got work tonight~
I don't mind working lots but I'm much more slower and tired and my left arm is giving up on me at the moment hahaha :S

Super excited to see Albie again and check out Melbourne cause I've heard lots of great things about it!

I'm pretty vague when it comes to these types of questions hahahaha! Um let's see...

I'd probably like to take it easy and simple...probably lunch or dinner! Doesn't have to be an expensive or flashy place...someplace new or someplace common is ok with me~
Also I'm not too picky with food given that it's not vegetarian or something consisting purely of mushrooms hahaha!
Afterwards depending what time or the weather, probably would like to take a stroll around somewhere like a park or something and just talking :)

I prefer not to recieve stuff or flowers on the first date hahaha! Although it's a sweet gesture, I would feel a bit awkward and that awkwardness would be pretty evident through my thanks hahaha! (But this often happens when I recieve gifts or open up birthday presents in front of people even though I love the gift!)
However I do appreciate flowers though!
Ehhh...If my date is relaxed than I'll be relaxed too :>

..I can't really think of anything else hahaha!

Day 2-What's in your make up bag?

I always feel like blogging after work...but never on my days off LOL
Anyways, time for Day 2-" What's in my make up bag?"

*drumroll*

Actually it looks like a make up tray LOL
Just as useless information...the black trays...they used to hold chicken schinztels HAHAHA!
I have like 2 big ones and maybe a small one on the side *frown*
They're actually pretty good dividers :> /wierdo

I keep this in my front draw of my desk and usually just chuck everything in it hmmm....I find that I find what I need much more quickly like art supplies! (Or I'm just a slob hahaha)
If I'm going out for a stay somewhere else then I probably chuck the ones I need in a small bag for the trip~

Anywaysss...

1. Rimmel Stay Matte mineral pressed powder
2.Concealer (Rimmel), "Soft Honey"
3.Rimmel foundation, "202-Nude"
4.Brush for the powder

I usually put mosturizer on my face then the foundation, then smooth over with the powder. I wear foundation and powder pretty much 98% of the time I go out including to work :>
I don't cover my whole face though...mainly just spots of foundation or concealer on the forehead, chin and nose to cover up spots/scars/bad skin days etc. Then make sure it blends in with the powder on top :)

My foundation is actually a shade darker than the skin on my face (on the hand it blends nicely!) so maybe after this tube runs out I'll choose a lighter shade or try BB cream~

1.Rimmel Extra Super Lash
2.Revlon eyeliner pencil
3.Rimmel white soft kohl pencil

Hahaha I still use pencil eyeliners but would like to try out liquid eyeliner soon cause I like pigmented stuff for the eyes! Plus pencil smudges too :>
I like the Revlon eyeliner pencil cause it's super pigmented! The white kohl is nice too...pretty soft colour but it does the job!

Sometimes might put on mascara when I go out + curl the lashes but with glasses you often can't see them hahaha

1.Revlon eyeshadow
2.Unknown brand
3.Rimmel eyeshadow

I often use the Revlon eyeshadow if I want to have panda eyes LOL. The unknown brand is a palette I stole off my sister but it's very soft in colour :> (I often use it when putting on makeup for work :) )
The Rimmel eyeshadow is a treat! I use the green only when I'm wearing my black frames (I have something against the red and green combo so green eyeshadow and my red frames are a no-no) and the silver is pretty sweet~
Both a glittery and quite pigmented which I like~

1.Rimmel "Stay Glossy" lipgloss
2.Nivea Essentials lip balm
3. Rimmel lipstick (forgot what colour name though!)

Mainly use the Nivea lipbalm either as a base or just by itself. I like the lipstick cause it lasts longer than lipglosses however I like the "Stay Glossy" lipgloss colour...maybe I might grab myself a lipstick in a darker red next time!

My mom buys most of my makeup for me or I inherit it from her hahahaha
Thus the brands we mostly use are Rimmel or Revlon cause they sometimes have specials where you can get giftpacks or freebies of makeup items :)

I probably might not do them everyday though and have other entries inbetween! C:

I had a nice but pretty chilled out day! Was supposed to work till 8:30PM the night before but ended up staying till 11:30PM so got home late, showered and had really bad bed hair the next day LOL
Mannn I look unhealthly pale!

Went to the city to the "Butcher's Shop" cause little sister had a gift voucher she had to reedem~
Outside the store was this cute dog sunbathing in the middle of the pathway! It was super friendly and would roll over on it's back if someone came up to pet it LOL
Turned out it was the shop owner's dog hahaha
The store mostly sold spraypaint cans and some books but sister got a set of 20 graphic markers :>!

Dad dropped my sisters, mom and I at Caro and I watched the 7th HP movie again cause my little sister's friend who she was supposed to go with to see the movie decided not to go so my other sister and I (who watched the movie a few days before with me) ended up going with her to watch the movie together :>
I had 2 free movie tickets I got from work a few months ago so we only forked out money for 1 more ticket o3o

Finished movie, got picked up and went over to Popo's place for dinner! Was still bright so walked around in the backyard + played with the dogs...cloudy and cool days are my favourite!

Rewatched the Mummy 2 after dinner hahahaha
The female characters are gorgeous but the movie was kinda cliche hahaha (Half died laughing when the Scorpion King died LOL)
Amazing in how graphics in movies have improved so much in the recent years though!

Was playing around with the pinhole setting on my camera a few nights ago! Makes everything seem so dreary and emo hahahaha

1. Got new frames! Come to think of it, they cover like half of my face/pretty huge considering I go for narrow rectangular frames most of the time! Now I'm not sure if they suit me but cause my eyesight is the same and the frames are covered by HBF, I suppose I can swap between my red frames and the new ones :>

The dress is what I wore for Desiree's partyyy! Went clothes shopping with the mom and sis to Harbour town on Friday and got to love sales!

2.My Gintama figurines LOL. (Actually I bought Gintoki for my sister's b'day present but Takasugi + Zura (ones at the back) is mine)

Should of gotten Hijikata and Okita too to complete the set but ah well! Couldn't afford the extra money to spend on figurines back then! (Even now I probably wouldn't hahaha)

3.Sebastiannnn

Actually he was holding his cat (which dissapeared along with his other arms and faces) so hence the weird arm posture and stuff hahaha

4. My favourite necklace! Pretty much was love at first sight with this piece of metal and Moo spent quite some time untangling it from this clump of necklaces so I could buy it hahaha!

Anywaysss...might be watching the 7th Harry Potter movie tommorrow cause I'm not working on a Tuesday for once o3o! However it's gonna be hot weather so probably might just stay in the shops and wait for the sun to go down hahaha

Rimmel haul + misc sketches

My exams finished yesterday so helloooo summer holidays!!
Though I have a shift tommorrow at 6AM fml hahahaha

A while back Rimmel was having a special at David Jones where if you spend $25 or more you get a giftpack valued at ~$70 *v*
My mom was interested in getting some makeup for my cousins (bless them and their new interest in makeup! :'D ) and also was planning to get me some more pressed powder cause mine was running out (Thank you! Hohoho~)

I've only tried it once before deciding to stick to finishing my old one hahaha It covers well but feels a bit more heavier than my current one :< Still like it though!

Concealer!

Sisters said that my powder and concealer didn't make up more than $25 so they got this for me too hahaha
I adore this shade of green! However need 2 coats or so :>

The giftpack consists of these goodies! Except for the lipliner, all the other items I use often :>!

The lipstick and eyeshadow is my favourite! I adore the green and silver however often choose not to wear the green cause I always feel that it will clash with my red frames haha *has something against the red-green combo*

1 more exam to go next week and I am finished for the year :D !
On Monday, I had a study session with a few uni friends at Ben's place~
His cat Cupcake is so adorableee! I've never had a cat just come up to me and crawl onto my lap before hahaha...most of them run away (like Tash's cat LOL)

Sometimes she'll sit on my study notes hahahaha...but most of the time she sat on Caitlin's notes xDD

I think she ended up napping for a bit on Caitlin's back hahaha

I'm not angry or pissed but was in the dumps cause I was looking forward and would then have to wait for another year to apply again~
Maybe I'm too nice hahaha *kicked*

However there's a possibility we could get a table cause I ended up emailing the Wai-con staff to see if there was a chance of accepting a late application and they said to send it in!
Shouldn't raise my hopes too high but fingers crossed!

Just finished uni on Thursday but still got exams so it's not exactly party time yet hahaha!
However I'm so glad that the last few weeks are over cause I've been so busy with uni~
I'm not the type of person to start an assignment super early but I'm also not a person to leave work till the last minute hahaha
But kinda had too many assignments + too little time + with work chucked in between (but I really like work though *u* ) = late nights for several days in a row = stress!

Still got to write an overdue post on Ngan's 19th, maybe a bit about Oscar + Jamie's daughter's baptism (she was just born exactly a month ago!) + maybe Tanya's 20th which is on tonight! (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TANYAAA <3 ) . .

I've always wondered...how does one with lack of boobs wear a strapless dress? D:
Also yesterday kinda pointed out that I have a lack of tops/jackets/cardis etc to wear over sleeveless clothes so must go shopping after exams hahaha!

I like painting my nails but cause my part-time job involves food...no nail polish on fingernails :C

Today was a really nice day out! A bit cool in the house so I mostly stayed outside today to soak up some sun (and get bitten by bugs along the way :<)
August is almost over and in a way it seemed to go by really fast but really slow too~ Been extremely tired over the week which ended up into me smashing into a door which hurt alot actually hahaha. . . .

I caught up with Del and Alina after the election on Saturday! : D
Super nice to see them again but mannn....must of been ages since the last time I saw them hahaha (not counting Woman's Day Expo (Del) + outside of Borders (Lina) *_____* )

Not doing a proper post today but do have some new stuff to blog about soon!
Although uni seems to be going quite slow for me, it's almost week 4 + tuition free week is already coming up!
Very unmotivated with my first assignment which is due this week but hahahaha...will get onto it I suppose! Done the interviews + research...just only got the write up to go which is proving to be hard to start so far thanks to my fabbbb motivation :>

That aside...first time voting today like many of my friends~ *u*
All I can say is that I had this super bad stomach ache when halfway through the queue and wanted to get it over + done with so I could go home hahahaha (also had to walk home fml)
Dad was super nice to cook me breakfast when we got home *____*!

Also caught up with Del + Alina today which was great! Plus bought some stuff~
Also going out tonight which will be good I hopeee <3

I've been wanting to change my blog layout for quite sometime and just decided to do it today!
I haven't found a nice looking one that has a post area big enough for photos (cause I post alot) so this temp one will have to do *___*

Although Blogger's new template designer thing is alright to use....I am finding it harder than hard to make a custom bg cause all the CSS or whatever is really different :C

Cafe Bella Rosa + Mayo shopping

Went out to dinner with my uncle who flew in from Singapore for a few days in Aus~
Come to think of it...I rarely see my cousins and aunt who lives here in Aus; we pretty much only meet up when my uncle or cousins from overseas come over :>

Sisters were busy so it was only parents + I went~
Italian food for once hahahaha!
Went to Cafe Bella Rosa in Carlisle cause my uncle apparently used to work there...food was quite nice however in terms of resturant environment...quite cramped + you pretty much have to raise your voice lots to talk to the person on your side or in front of you o3o
There was a super cute waiter there but anywaysss...some photos!

Last night at work was super fun...my shift started off with getting sent to the supermarket with Isaac to buy $40 worth of mayonnaise cause we ran out at the store hahahaha
And 40 bucks of mayo we bought! ( Homebrand actually :'D )
Isaac then had the exciting job of scooping all the mayo from the jars into the prep pans for use hahahaha

We also had a few West Coast Eagles football players come in for some sorta signing event at the store + raffle draws. Around 6-ish...the store just started getting filled with loads of kids + their parents...around 6:30pm--absolutely swamped!
I've never seen the resturant that full beforeeee~

Was on front counter running orders that night....although busy...I had lots of fun~
Clean up was a horror after actually hahahaha...like the aftermath of a party~
Uni starts next week so... so bye bye Monday night shifts...I liked you lots haha ;u;

A while back I baked some cupcakes with Moo!
Met her at IGA and bought some cooking ingrediants before walking back to my place to bakeee~

Actually...my mom ended up doing the cupcakes themselves (we were more interested in decorating the cupcakes hahaha) while I tried cooking instant noodles for Moo and myself :>!

Cupcakes ended up tasted decent but I wished I sneaked in more icing sugar in the frosting to make it less buttery hahahahaha
Also...I think I fer sure over estimated the difficulty of frosting cupcakes nicely OTL;;;

Last Friday I caught up with Evonne + we decided to have an art session but at Alice's place!
I'm usually the type of person ready to go if there is some appointment or something...but one of the rare times where I was caught out not ready to go hahaha
Was supposed to be picked up at 9am but Evonne ended up coming round 8:45 where I was still in my pj's but had gotten everything else done zzzzz

Hi hi~
Apparently Kuroshitsuji 2 came out recently in which my sister and I decided to watch the first ep (sadly no subs yet).

There was a bit of fuss with some fans super upset/pissed that Kuroshitsuji 2 was gonna have new lead characters and no more Ciel and Sebastian and thus were not gonna watch season two...but Sebastian and Ciel did happen to make an appearence in the first episode with promise that they might be coming back more season 2...soooo..should be interesting with some fans eating their words a bit hahaha~ :>

Anywaysss...new character Alois is well..incredibly different from Ciel :>
He strikes me as a bit bipolar from being super cute to stabbing a maid's eye out...should be interesting to see how the new characters turn out though *u*

Every Woman Expooo

Last Friday I went to the Brownes Every Woman Expo with Tanya!
Got picked up at 2pm and we headed off to the Convention Centre C:

There were stands featuring massages to photography to jewellery,handbags and foodddd~
Also lots of demos to see and draws to enter~
Quite impressed by some of the stuff they had on sale but in the end got won over by Konad's nail stamping merchandise hahahaha

Ended up buying the basic set for myself (stamper,scraper, 1 metal plate with 5-6 designs + the special nail polish). Tanya bought a bigger set that came along with more plates and polish colours I believe *v*
It took my like 3 visits back to the place before I decided to buy the basic set =A=

Cityyy + spitballs

Hello hello!

Today at work I've had my first experience in dealing with annoying customers hahahahaha
I sometimes do front counter in which I do like it alot (in dealing with customers and stuff)...but some of them today were freaking-I-want-to-throttle-you!

Besides from an odd one or two customers that miraculously forgotten that they didn't order freaking fries or a value meal and then complain on where the fries they have not paid for or ordered are (plus super annoying cause you've run and repeated their order so many times plus confirm with them what I've got on screen is what they want!)...I was cleaning the resturant quickly today when there were a few kids and their dad spitting spitballs :>

Spitballs are gross and what can you doooo as much as you'll like to shove the straw + tissues down their throats...but all of them were freaking cowards to only spit at a person when their back is turned (Plus seriously....adults spitting spitballs? ) :I

Actually...only one kid had the guts to point the straw at my face when I turned around and gave them a look...but his dad stopped him half heartedly~
I found it more fun and easier to go talk to the manager on shift and watch them get super uncomfortable cause they know they were being watched from then + then they try apologising to you again after hahahahaha
Zzzz...no harm done cause skin is washable but sad to know that some asswipes breed asswipes it seems hahahaha :>

Onto more positive things! Besides from working I caught up with a few people in the last few days! :'DDD
Got a few posts to write but first one is a city outing with Moo, dgqf + Mry last Thursday!

I ended up getting there early cause I wanted to go take a look around and suprise suprise I bumped into Chow at Murdoch when waiting for the train! She had work and was gonna meet up with some friends in the city before hand but she was supernice to keep me company as we browsed through Cotton on and the Myer sales~

Met up with Mry slightly before 12 and we decided to go take a look at more shops while waiting for dgqf and Moo (who we were suppose to meet at 12 hahaha)
Bout 12:30-40-ish Moo + dgqf met us at Ally and then we went for lunchhhh~

Had prawn tempura don which was super niceeeee!

A few recent Saturdays ago was my grandpa's b'day which we celebrated it at Dragon Palace~
Before the dinner though, caught up with Spike and did some shopping (mainly finding a present hahaha)

First thing we did in the city was to locate the Capitol in which the BlesstheFall and Saosin concert Spike was going to was at~
Although it was quite easy to find...I realise that even parts of Murray street were new to me cause I've never really ventured out of the main city area and stuff hahahaha

I wanted to find my Grandpa a book in particular rather than art supplies cause he likes painting stuff he either sees or takes photos of~
And they're mainly scenery...so book hunting we went!
Come to think about it...I think most of the outing was visiting bookstores (cause I was picky hahaha)

At the end of the dayyy...found this treasure at a discounted temporary bookstore down Haystreet when we finished eating lunch~
I remember seeing the same book in Dymocks or something around $60....managed to get it at $15~~ :'D

Today when walking from the gym cafe back to the campus in the late afternoon with a coffee in my hand...I felt really really good in that there was nothing I was worried or anxious about or busy thinking about something in those 15 minutes...only that I could see the moon up in the sunset sky C:

But then mild freakout after when I thought I lost my bus card once I finished printing out handouts for Sexology at the library and that the bus was late on the way home bahahaha

And I didn't know there was a cafe at the gym until Rhiannon suggested we meet up there to work on our speech...it's a very nice place!

But pretty quiet cause I think it's not very well known or people only are there to use the gym equipment nextdoor :>

Soooo.....what is the most weirdest thing a random person has ever said to you just for the sake of starting up a conversation?

Was waiting for the 99 bus to get to uni after picking up some lunch and when an elderly asian woman sitting next to me started telling me how there was a man who wanted to kill her and then asked me if I heard voices in my head *u*;;

Anywhooosss...that's gotta be the most interesting thing a random person on the streets has said to me so far/ and just wanted to share with you all the highlight of my day hahahaha

Another time when waiting at Murdoch train station a girl simply started talking to me and when it was time to get on the 99 bus..I think she tried to sit next to me but cause of my fatty yellow handbag...she took the seat behind me and proceeded to ask me lotsa personal questions o____O

But then she probably saw that I wanted to study/read something on the bus trip and stopped hahaha;;

Was working on my SPSS assignment today but then I got stuck in deciding whether I needed to write the Bonferroni alpha level for simple effects an comparisons or just the normal .05 alpha level :C

Sucky thing is that the textbook doesn't even show you how to do 2 way ANOVA :I

Work on making a handout for sexology but then realised I needed some of Rhiannon's info haha

Soooo....tackled clothing designs!

There are three versionsss of a dingo template I drew to use as bases...one with no eyes,one with one eye and one with both bahaha

And then a side profile of a dingo cause I think faces are very boring to work with on multiple designssss...perhaps looks too mature for kids so I might stick some stars on it bahaha OTL;;

I'm getting more comfortable with drawing with a mouse, but only limited to simple silhouettes or things like flowers so far hahaha~

Ahh..my dad was super nice to scan in all the papers with the instructions plus photograph all the samples they are drawing inspiration from when I was busy a few nights ago *_____*

Hahahaha...just like everyone else I feel like bitching bout assignments! (exam freakout might come later!)

But man...perhaps 3 weeks to go till study week and exams and I have 6 bigfattyshitty assignments left to do :C (Plus just found out about another bonus one fffff-- )

I wish I was a morning type person but nooo...I usually waste half of my day in bed sleeping hahaha

Anywayssss...things left to do till exams then freedom!

1.Sexology reflection paper Draft finished yesterday/gotta edit then submit

2.Sexology speech + handout LOL..great partner/easy topic to research about (FGM)...but motivation is like 2% bahaha.....c'monnn...only about 2 paragraphs to go and then I'll finish my draft speech :C (70% draft)....handout (10% OTL;; )

3. SPSS assignment two (I think 40% done :C....Done all the computer/data work...but totally shitty at interpreting data /lecturer writes the questions very confusingly so I'll have to check if I'm doing it right :I )

4. CAA lab test 3 (0% revision hahaha...will start on Mondayyyy...I've now started doing my readings on bus rides cause I know I'll never get it done otherwise! Happy with my test results for CAA test 2 so the technique must be working a bit better hahaha )

5. Learning and Behavior workbook 2 (5% Bahaha....only done Sniffy and Zoo activity...now have to use that to answer the effing questions plus do research to answer the others :C )

Sunday-Found out a possible something that kinda made me think that I didn't know that person as well as I thought.

I should respect that person and forget about it cause I am a coward when it comes to clarifying about things.

Monday-Had the fastest lecture ever...2 hours done in like 30 minutes~

The good thing was that one of the tutors from the unit was conducting the seminar cause the actual lecturer was away and he's much better in getting straight to the stuff to learn/plus in keeping us all awake OTL;;

But meant I had to go home early...weather was shitty and cold.

Helped two ladies get their pram into one of those older buses that aren't designed for those with prams or wheelchairs cause the busdriver didn't help them and both parties were getting pissed at each other (the bus driver running late and the ladies irritated at not getting much help plus comunication difficulties and having to take a sleeping baby out of the pram along with a young kid).

Procrastinated for a few hours on the comp and I think I was reading someone's livejournal when a fucking annoying rogue virus installed itself on my computer.

Wasted the whole night and my dad's time trying to get rid of the nasty little fucker cause it was cleverly designed to shut down all the programs and internet/ways to get rid of it while being a fucking pest with pop ups and freezing.

In the end our anti-spyware picked it up and deleted some...but one of the slipped through and couldn't be rid of.

Spent more hours transferring extra stuff that wasn't located in my data drive so I can later access my crap from another account and then delete the infected one~

Tuesday-Spent the morning sifting through all my crap on the new account to make sure I didn't forget anything important.

Computer is laggy as fuck and still freezes often (especially in opening tabs and windows so I'm just bookmarking everything now).

Spent hours that night washing tons of stuff but being around a couple of new and nice and chatty people. One of them was probably 15years...seemed like one of those kids who dropped out of school/smoker/cause trouble but he was quite helpful and talkative suprisingly~

Did hear later on that he was annoying to alot of others hahaha....I'll see if I think the same in time but I doubt it cause first impressions are pretty significant!

Wednesday-Woke up a bit earlier to work on my sexology speech...computer was still lagging..perhaps it might go faster once I delete the infected account? :C

Anti-virus scans are pretty clear though...but I'm not sure cause one of my older anti-spyware programs keep on picking up something :<

Got about 1/3 of my speech typed up when I decided to go shower/get dressed and ready for uni/eat lunch.

Helped my mom close those ventilation things in the ceiling cause winter is coming cause I was a bit taller and if I happened to fall off the chair,I probably wouldn't bust my hip as bad as my mom could.

Neck was effing sore after a while from looking upwards to put the shutters back in hahaha

Then bused to uni...lecture and then tut~

While waiting outside for the lecture,Viv and Yat with a small crowd inbetween them were like miming to each other hahahaha...I was laughing so much when Viv mimed something like attacking and Yat mimed something like "heartbreak" in response hahahaha

Tommorrow I have a CAA lab test after Sexology :C

I hope I revised enough! Underestimated the last one...didn't score bad...but still..slightly lower than I would of liked hahaha

Then Friday...lecture,class and then meet up with Rhiannon to work on our sexology speech!

Hopefully the end of the week will end in a nicer note than the start~

Had to go find some time to do some animal observational studies for one of my next assignments...soooo...went with Tash and Ben! (Met up with Caitlin and her friend too but only when paying tickets/in the nocturnal house then meeting up for lunch~ )

Met up with Tash at Cockburn central train station....mannn..the place looks heaps nicer than Murdoch hahahahaha

Was a bit boggled when I got out and there were two wide passageways on either side of me so I took the right and ended up at the bus station and park & ride (Found out that the other side was a bigger car park :> )

Lately I've been allocating some time for myself to do some art for myself *v*

Anywaysss...haven't made any progress on the last WIP I posted of Sorrell and Mirelda but here's a Chem and Jest one I have *u* (I just need to re-draw something/colour it seperately then merge both images once I get time )

Ahhhh...it has pretty dark colours cause I wanted to stray out of the regular skin palette I use but LOL faillllll

I'll probably abuse the colour dodge or overlay function once I finish to lighten the colours up when I'm done...or put a blue/night time tint to it ....idk, depends on the bg when I'm done cause I'm currently winging it hahahaha OTL;;

Flowers are supposed to be forget me nots but pfftttt...I think the flower petals are more rounder so fail on that part hahahaha

Oh oh..and whenever I colour Chem and Jest together...I always wonder what on earth I was thinking when coming up with the character designs cause I really dislike the red and green colour combination hahahahaha (But then again, they weren't originally supposed to tie in with each other and Jest in particular has changed heaps since the first plans cause he was supposed to be a monster rather than a "dead" teenager but whatever hahaha*v* )

There was a bit of confusion in whether our SPSS labs were on today cause apparently the lecturer sent notes saying that it was on... while the unit outline and tutors said the tut was off hahaha (My class tutor was called in apparently on the way to a funeral :C )

Anywaysss...spent that class teaching a virtual rat (Sniffy) to press a bar to get food rather than do SPSS hahaha (operant conditioning exercises for a learning and behaviour assignment/another unit)

Tash was doing it on the computer next to me...her rat learnt hella lot faster than mine did OTL;;

For 45 minutes I was thinking my rat was a bit slow *cough* cause it would almost learn the behaviour..and then ....it just didn't hahaha (It eventually learnt to associate the bar pushing to food towards the end of an hour =A= )

Will have to go finish the experiment when I next have time to access the labs :<

Anywaysss..uni is good, just that this month of May is gonna be a bitch with everything due in the last few weeks :I

1.I don't think the name "Samantha" suits me so I stick with "Sam" generally (unless I use my nickname).

2. I sometimes wonder if people wonder why my signature does not contain my real name LOL (Especially when it's right next to my real name on things like uni role lists)

3. I'm a second year Psychology student.

4. I like Psych alot and don't regret taking it instead of art. (Though you have ups and downs with some assignments/things sometimes =A= )

5. I was born and raised in Perth. Home is still the best but I wish there was more shops/night life hahaha.

6.I gave up growing my hair long and got it cut short again recently =A=

7.I suck at maths and physics hahaha (Failure to the asian stereotype)

8.I suck at using chopsticks too (Suck again but so long as I can eat it's fineee )

9.I love italian food and my dad's cooking.

10.I suck at cooking (I think. Bonus if I end up marrying someone who can cook well)

56. I love collecting art books (generally official books that contain a manga artist's personal works but sometimes people who make small booklets of their sketches/art works that isn't official but still look nice!)~

57.I currently have 3 or 4 offical art books (Pieces of the World,A Jewel Box,Hana Kimi and well...the Bleach one (Memories of Nobody)...this one is my sister's but whatever hahahaha ).

58. The other ones made by artists are ones I've found and ordered through deviantART...they include anikakinka + Razuri's "Valentines sketchbook", kidchan's "Muted Colours" (One of my favourites! I bought this at comicfeista but didn't know which out of the 3 girls was kidchan lololol Q___Q;; ),Orpheelin's "Northern" (Cendre & Faust's story with lots of lovely sketches and textures!) and uh...I think that's it? I also might be getting kisukaite's (Hino's) sketchbooks "Normal" and "Both" in the mail once she's ready to send orders out *v*

59. And then I have 2 other books that seem to be compiled by people of a certain series art works hahaha...they were cheap but I had no idea what was inside when I bought them~
One contains a few Loveless works and the other contains some of Kaori Yuki's works(Godchild,Angel Sanctuary,bit of Ludwig Kakumei and a few illustrations from her one shot stories~ ).

60. Even though I have a book and poker cards that contain lots of Kaori Yuki's illustrations..I still want her official artbooks hahahaha (But she only has 2 of them for Angel Sanctuary~ )

61. My favourite/s out of Kaori Yuki's works is "Count Cain/Godchild" and Ludwig Kakumei~
Her latest one in progress "Ningyou Kyuutei Gakuden" is also looking good! Zombies/creepy dolls/gender bender characters anyone?

Hello hello!

Decided to take it easy tonight and do some CGing *v*

I haven't inked any super new linearts so been using a slightly older Sorrell and Mirelda-love lineart I actually didn't get to colouring~ :>

Mirelda looks like a floofy pudding <3

And so much for wanting to have a character who doesn't like revealing clothes OTL;;

I swear...every time I draw her with Sorrell on the same page...her clothes are like...bird inspired wtf~

Anywaysss...most of the time with CG..once I do the skin...I slack off like hell hahahaha

Must try harder with the hair this time! :C

And I wanted to try playing with lighting (like night-time-ish) but using purples (or blue) on skin is weirdddd (I like my warm browns! )

So fail on that part lololol....but who knowsss...touching it up later might end up going the way I want ;;

My social learning lecturer wants to do a flashmob today in at uni so...might be a laugh hahahaha

But before I leave for class...the My Big Gig poster is finished *____*!

I kinda failed really really bad at putting text with the artwork (about 5 times and still no success LOL) so the text work in the poster is all credited to Kieryn in which I think he did a fantastic job *v*!

The lecturer usually has her lecture notes as notes for her to remember what to talk about...so...they're not really useful cause..most of the slides have one effing word to the topic and...no short descriptions/definitions or how it links together/Anything :C

I shouldn't complain but...it means us students have to take notes as she speaks so it's kinda hard to think about what has been said when she's already speaking about the next page of topics etc etc

Just my two cents hahaha

Idk...the guy just turned to bunny boy towards the end of the hour (I gave up taking notes after 40 minutes *kicked* )

Mm..think give me a week or two then the doodling bug will be back hahahaha

But for now,still got a few assignments and tests to do :C

Spent the afternoon researching about "Social Loafing" in which you have to do a lab report...they gave us a really wordy article that kinda sucks and we have to make a hypothesis from the topic~

I'm thinking of doing something about the prospect of punishment in social loafing but mannn...why does all the journal articles that give you good info have to be oldddd and anything recent that cites it (so you can sneakily paraphrase the info you want) have to be...blehhhhh?

But heyyy...I don't write journal articles myself of conduct big experiements hahaha

I'm unsure of the the year limit of the journal articles to use for this assessment so I'm sticking with about year 2000 and will have to go check in class tommorrow =A=

Got some editing to do to make sure my answers sound ok and that I got my intext referencing alright *v*

Apparently we have to use the updated version of APA referencing in which it's pretty much the same cept putting things alphabetically (I think?) and some funky doi code :I

Well..better late than never I suppose~

Got up early yesterday to meet Rhiannon at uni to work on our Sexology group speech~

She got the Sexology textbook (I decided to not spend 100 bucks for it cause no exams and you learn most stuff in class/and bladdy hell why do textbooks cost so much?!)...but it's actually pretty interesting hahahaha

Then caught the bus to the city to meet my mom at the city round 12~

Cause of my super good timing in which I missed the bus around 11:40 and ended up catching one that went down a different route but still got me to the city with a bit more walking...was bout 10 minutes late oops~

Had to go to the hospital for mom's appointment and then decided to go grab lunch at Hungry Jacks before going to Harbour town *Q*

By the time we got there...was already 2:30pm so we both got home round 6pm hahahaha

Anywhooosss...when I last visited Habour Town with Tash...I saw a netted singlet top I wanted but it cost about $7 then....managed to get it for about $4 this time C: !

My sisters think it looks like a bra bag you stick in the wash but I like it hahahaha

There was only a cream coloured/slightly glittery net singlet left so I got that one~

Cause Tempt and Valleygirl were having a sale,Mom bought a dress and some black shorts for us kids~

I told her to get something for herself but yeahhh.....she did end up buying heaps of discounted pillowcases later on hahaha. She like the European style ones apparently~

Bras and Things were also having a sale so were able to get a singlet/shorts pj set,pj shorts and a white shirt at $3 each~

I actually don't have a pair of pjs hahaha...usually at home I just bum around in a shirt and shorts that is ok to sleep in~

Swimsuits were also on sale too but I decided to not get a pair after trying a few on cause I actually don't go swimming that much :>

Did end up getting a pair of boardies but I reckon Amanda will probably end up using it more than me hahaha...she goes swimming more than I do!

Oh oh...and on the way home..I realised that my smartrider changed from tertiary to standard!

Effing trip cost me about $7...what a fucking rippppp >:I

I think I'll have to re-apply for a tertiary smartrider when I go into uni on Monday ffffffff----

I feel like cutting my hair again~

But I think I'll still try growing it out...but kinda get Cassiie to trim it down a bit~

And then once my hair is long I'll hack it all off hohoho~

Cause honestlyyy...I haven't tied up my hair in years and I shudder to think what it'll be like when it gets really long hahaha

Went to Kay's Easter party on uhhh...Sunday night round 10pm~

By then mostly everyone was there hahaha

I thought it was a pretty good night though Moo,Farrel and I left a lil bit past midnight~ (Perhaps we were the most sober ones there ahahaha )

Also saw a few faces I haven't seen in a while! There was a pretty blonde girl between Jeff and Amber when I arrived and only after being really sloppy in learning in how to drink tequila I realised it was Emily who dyed her hair to blonde!

I think Kay and Rhys were most amusing to watch hahaha

Both of them even decided to go swimming in their underwear round midnight...I wonder if any of them remember? Kay didn't even though she said she had a great time hahahaha

We went pretty downhill in the Botanic Garden area....was deathhhh to walk back up hahahaha

Just spent most of my day CGing a "My Big Gig" poster for Miss Harrison!

Bringing in a few altered versions (mainly text and BG) tommorrow to see which one she likes and wants for this year's event~

Bahaha...I hope she likes one out of the 4 cause I really don't want to touch the 600MB file again ><

I generally work at 300dpi so my photoshop files (bout 50 layers or less) are usually less than 100MB?

But cause of the possibility of printing the poster bigger than A4 I decided to scan the lineart in at 600dpi and now the file is 6x bigger than what I usually work with har harr

Plus photoshop decided to chuck a hissy fit at me and get a program error as soon as I wanted to save my work a while ago fffffff---

Microsoft word wins with saving a draft of your work if your computer decides to shut down without savingggg...PS sadly does not ~

Anywhooosssss....

Harrison wanted a Ben Frichot influence....so although I can't draw in his style I tried to adopt his colour palette,composition and doing things without black lineart! (Which is a new experience hahaha)

So on the coloured side is no black lineart (cept for the top and chin area...non black looked kinda weird~) and the blue side with~

I don't think I succeeded but I'm ok with what I've produced so far (I hope it's ok for her C: )

If it's accepted I'll post up the final version that's chosen :>

Fun facts/random things anybody?

1.The girl reminds me of a blonde bimbo hahahaha

2. She's missing her right eyebrow

3. Her arm is a bit...off

4. "Stereos" look like boxes with eyes hahaha

5. She was originally very busty (flat chicks are sadly less fun to draw *kicked*)...but cause her head + boobs outweighed her waist and tummy...I had to re-draw the body alot of times hahahaha

Her waist still looks very small...but not as bad as before!

Ahhh...better get to doing some SPSS assignment work tommorrow :C

It's due on Friday arvo and I still got 3 multichoice questions left before I can go over my answers and submittt

And Supernatural is back on :'D <33

And have Sunday and Monday to look forward to....haven't seen a few people in agessss! Will be nice to catch up >3<

Tuition free week next week sooo..I'm getting started with some assignments and stuff~
Decided to get stuck into the stats one...only have 3 questions left but there is still a few questions I'm not sure if I have the right answer~

Mainly cause the lecturer has worded a few questions and possible answers weirdly (It's a multiple choice/quiz assignment)...but I'd never thought I'll say this but I wish I had Allen as the stats lecturer this year!
Even if you get bored to tears in the lecture (C'monnn..stats and maths? )..his lecture slides are easy to understand (great for assignments cause all the info is there!) and he explains things pretty well~

The new lecturer seems nice but his lecture slides are a pain to go through cause it's all over the place for me/not sorted out in a nice order to understand :C

Ahhh..I think I'll go start some assignment and bitch later ohohohoho~

Hello hello~

Today had one hell of a storm! In the early afternoon..there was effing blue skies and a humid temperature~
Come 4pm...hugeee black clouds,wind,hail,rain,thunder,lightning and electricity flickering on and off in one go =__=

Then at 6pm it was sorta bright again ahahaha

Muchhh thanks to Farrell and Moo dropping me home! And treating me to bubbletea and cookies (I feel the loveee <3>

But shitttt...wish the trip home for you guys wasn't so awful for you guys :C . . .

Uhm..um...snails~ Friday's slimy tutorial was welllll....I'm still scared/dislike them so much ahahaha

We were studying habituation and sensitisation....and the second half of the experiment involved covering the platform the snail was to crawl on with one outta 3 substances to see if it'll get used to it or not~

We got given talcom powder (smells like babies!)...and wellll...the snail immediately retreated into it's shell once it was placed on the powder but cause it took some powder in with it...there were like..bubbles and foamy shit coming out of the shell ahahahahaha

Didn't kill it though! But for a moment my group and I were "HOLY SHIT,DID WE KILL IT?! Q_____Q;;;;; "

It seems like we got a very energetic snail ahahaha...Tash was a bit fond of it after *laughing* Mr Slimy gets no love from meee though~

Some recent commissions~

First one was done a while agooo...last one was finished yesterdayyy...and the middle oneee...I'll probably get to it either tommorrow or Wednesday cause I have to revise for my CAA lab text on Wednesday :C

I miss drawing my OCssss...but I have not much time due to my shitty timing!

But cause Sexology is wayyyy better than Journalism and a bunch of other units (so far with the other units...Journalism is just the pits)..all that frustration is probably directed at myself LOL.

Had some cash a few weekends ago and decided to go treat myself to something~
